The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, is undertaking a massive physical infrastructural expansion.
This is to create extra space to admit more of pioneers of the government’s flagship education programme, the Free Senior High School from next year September.
The space being created will accommodate about 23,000 successful beneficiaries of the free SHS for the 2020-2021 Academic Year compared with the intake of nearly 12,000 students this year.
These came to light during a media tour of the project sites at the University in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
