Pollster Ben Ephson has predicted more shake-up within the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the coming days.

Ephson said because some officials stand to be sanctioned, there will be a reshuffling that will see some national officers like John Boadu and Sammy Awuku taking over the post as Acting General Secretary and National Organizer respectively.

“Kwabena Agyepong and Sammy Crabbe are going to be suspended soon amidst all those who took part in the demonstration at the party headquarters. If they don’t suspend them, there will be public outcry on the fact that the allegation of the NPP as an Akan party is true,” Ephson told sit-in host Yaa Serwaa Akoto on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM.

According to Ephson, there must be equity in the treatment meted out to the NPP suspended chairman such that others who have also misconducted themselves in the same light must also receive appropriate sanctions else the NPP will have a lot to contend with.

The embattled Chairman Paul Afoko in a recent Press conference bemoaned what he says is the deliberate attempt by the party using unconstitutional means to enable them cow those perceived to be enemies within the elephant family, but has insisted the trend will set the future of the party in jeopardy.

He was suspended on the grounds of working clandestinely to frustrate the party’s interest in the upcoming 2016 elections.
