NDC to address media today over Amenfi Central PC’s disqualification

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will today, October 17, 2024 address the press on the disqualification of their Amenfi Central Parliamentary candidate for the December 7, 2024 Parliamentary election.

The Press Conference has become necessary to address issues and also provide a lasting solution to the challenge at hand.

In a post shared via social media, Fiifi Kwetey who is the political party’s General Secretary indicated that the will of the people will never be subverted.

Joana Gyan’s disqualification was announced as a shock to many.

The commission cited a suit in May challenging her candidacy and an injunction that prevented her from holding herself as candidate.

According to the commission, the case hasn’t been addressed by the court making her unfit to run for the seat.
