A lot of are people are talking about a new voter’s register to eliminate elections rigging but I think, there is one particular area that has not caught the attention of the nation of election rigging. And that area is Polling Station id number. In Ghana we call it Serial Number or Polling Station Code. And if that situation is not corrected even if a new register is compiled, the corrupt system of the electoral commission will still be able to the rig the elections in favour of one party. We will still have excess votes by manipulation.

Modern technology has discovered that unique number is the perfect solution for identifying and accounting for every entity or item in captured information and must best be a number, not a text since a duplicate number can easily detected and rejected by any DBMS (Database Management Systems). The principle is the same with every DBMS whether it is SQL, MySQL, Access, Oracle or IBM. Millions of students in the Western word can be traced and accounted for because of this unique ID number they are given when they enrol for college of university. And “Jihadi John” was caught through this identification because he was the only one and nobody else that had that number when he used his number to purchase software. There are millions of cars being manufactured and shipped across the world but each of these can be traced and recalled because of this unique number.

The point I am trying to make here is that why is that while in Ghana, we have only a total of twenty-one thousand and four (21004) polling stations, we can’t we give them unique numbers of that range to reflect that? At the moment, if you visit the Ghana Electoral Commission website, the way they are identifying these polling stations is very bizarre and makes it possible for fiddling and manipulation of the electoral results. You can see identifications like Abokobi Madina: C020704A, C020704B but it shouldn’t be like that. This means that even when the various political agents may have obtained their declared results, somebody else is going to add both polling stations and give its total as national collation result for Abokobi Madina: C020704. What if the corrupt electoral officer added more to it for national collation? The proper method would be, to identify the stations as Abokobi Madina: C020704, C020705. They are separate polling stations even if they are in the same building or location. Once they are counted separately by different polling officials, they are separate polling stations. That means the face value of the results, polling station agents submit to their party headquarters should tally with declared EC results if they go by this identification and declaration system. There will be no disputes as there can be no discrepancies anywhere.

One of the more bizarre anomalies as I found at the EC website was that some of these Polling Stations had ‘A’ version without the ‘B’ version and vice versa. Bolgantanga alone had 20 of such identifications without the other versions. Does that not make it possible for a corrupt EC official to create a fictitious ‘A’ or ‘B’ and add more votes for national collation or increase the total substantially as if there was another version of the polling station? Was that the reason why at the Election Petition, most of the pink sheets were not signed? Another curious anomaly noticed is that, these versions of A B C station are supposed to be created in concentrated population areas where there could be long queues. So is the EC telling Ghanaians that there is more population concentration and long queues in the Upper East than Ashanti region as they created such identifications of 118 to 51 respectfully? Upper East region with a voters’ population of just around three hundred thousand people had long queues of 118, while Ashanti region with voters’ population of over 1.5 million had 51 long queues. How is this comparison justified? Just for one reason, to use this double identification to rig.

By my painstaking observation at Ghana Electoral Commission website, I noticed most of these double and triple version were in high numbers in the swing and soft target regions of Greater Accra (218), Central Region (109), Western Region (94), Northern Region (128) and Eastern Region (114). By these revelations, I don’t believe the NDC won the majority votes in the afore-mentioned regions in the 2008 and 2012 elections.

The overall double and triple versions identification I counted at the EC website was 913. And these polling stations consist of other versions. Multiplied by 2 will give over 1,826 polling stations vulnerable to manipulation which can tilt the outcome of an election.

It is important that the 21004 polling stations in Ghana are given unique identification numbers within the range of 1 to 21004 to prevent fictitious polling stations being created and avoiding adding any A, B and C versions of polling stations rendering them vulnerable to fiddling and manipulation. The current system of identification of our polling stations will not validate in any database system. Ask any database expert and he will tell you it is flawed and therefore cannot give accurate information.

The current biometric registration identification should be enough to prevent impersonation and over-voting. But even if a new voters’ register is compiled and without accounting for unique number identification of our polling stations, the elections could still be rigged by the current flawed Polling Stations identification. I have a strong suspicion that this the main source of excess votes in the various districts. There is no need to identify our polling stations by any A, B and C versions. They serve no other purpose than to rig. Polling Stations id or Code number must be unique and Polling Agents election result transcripts to their party headquarters must tally with that of the EC to avoid any controversies and petitions.

Last but not least, they should employ teachers in the various localities as a standard for all proper democracies as electoral officers to avoid corrupt official being selected to do any rigging job.

The EC will do well if such reforms can be implemented.

No enlightened person or a Political Scientist can say that a Nation with a 30 Million population can have as many as 50% on a given Voter Register.
That is absolutely crazy as IDIOT AMIN.

There is No doubt that this COCAINDC GOVERNMENT would only put the stolen monies on winning the next Election based on the Bloated Registration they have managed to manipulate.

Firstly, THUGS LIKE OFOSU AMPOFU, HARUNA IDDRISSU, (cutlass) BABA JAMAL, MAHAMA AYARIGA and others managed to disrupt the Electoral Commission Mandate of the ROPAB.

Quite recently, we have had our DULLARD MAHAMA as the Chairman of the Ecowas, to receive and accept the Togo Opposition cries of the concerned Voters Registration in TOGO.

The exercise was completely cleaned out which ensured a win for the Opposition. So why should we NOT DO SAME HERE IN GHANA???

We all know that the Electoral Commission is just a puppet tool to the COCAINDC GOVERNMENT. Therefore, if they fail to heed to the concern of the majority of the Political Parties and her peoples then they are fomenting a CIVIL WAR in our country Ghana.

AND DO THEY CARE????
