Look at what they did to innocent people after the last elections just because they were wearing NDC T-shirts.

Party agents are allowed at registration centers for the purpose of identifying illegal registrations. They are also allowed to be present during the exhibition of the registers. Avenues are available to them to officially make complains when they feel someone registering or whose name on the register should not be there.

Can we at least one day use our brains to face the reality in Ghana,is this guy telling us people who register in Ghana cannot just give any address to register, what will providing the address to the parties do,to go to their homes to find out if they live there,how will that be possible?

There's a residential address in thw form of house number or plot number on any electricity or water bill.
So this shouldn't be a problem for the EC . In the villages without such data the houses should be numbered!

Ghana's administrative challenges will be reduced if we consider using residence address for official documents.I was given a voter's ID Card in 1992 when I was 42 years old and it still seems I am 42 today in 2015.This is because there was no date and place of issue.Even the new voter's ID Cards don't have date and place of issue.There must be residence address on all the Identification Cards for security and administrative reasons.Thank you.

If you review registered companies at the Registrar Generals department it is more likely 6 out 10 registered companies will have P.O. Box as legal address. So in a country where Identification and residence information is of no value to government institutions and or private businesses we cannot worry with voter rolls that would meet any verifiable standards in industrialized nations and or even amongst African nations.

People asking for new voter register now are the very people who thought a decentralized government will bring about local development; did it and why do we not have sewage and drainage treatment plant anywhere in Ghana? It is the same people who told us that a multi-party system would give us democracy did it; because from where I sit we would not cry foul each election cycle if democracy principles, vales and best practices in Ghana were real. It is the same people who are pushing the new form of slavery called property seeking society where a few could dictate to the rest of the nation what is good for them is all that should matter to us all. When did anyone tell J. J. Rawlings, Kufour, Mahama, Nana Akufo-Addo and all the rest when they can leave Ghana on the whim to take a vacation anywhere they damn please on riches they did not earn the way most civil servants toil? And hell no Ghanaians do not want to and do not need to learn from Kenya; Kenyans have their own issues to resolve no matter what the global sales job; their own president is a wanted criminal.
