I seriously dont think that Greenstreet will be able to take the CPP very far but all the same, Im kind of satisfied and happy that he has got Samia out of the way of the CPP. Samia was/is an albatross hanging on the neck of the CPP - a stumbling block who had no idea of what that party stands for.

She, at the instance of that opportunist, Akosa, had been brainwashed with a discreet sense of entitlement to the effect that the CPP was their bona fide property. Had it been that they (the Samia-Akosa faction) had managed to make any appreciable impact on the party during the period that they monopolized it, one would have ignored their effrontery and shameless outbursts of today.

As for Akosa I hope that the events of the past few days will also mark his end in that party. He is just plenty talk and absolutely nothing to show for it. He has never held any position in that party apart from positions at the highest national levels. He probably thinks he has been ordained by God to play a leading role in that party and that is perhaps why he hangs on to the coat-tails of Nkrumahs daughter.

CPP's voice worth nothing in Ghana because CPP can never win in Ghana; the parties are NDC and NPP. So, if CPP select a flagbearer, nobody cares. CPP remains a losing party long before Nkruma died.
