NANA Akufo Addo should do something seriously to the bitter rivalry between him and Afoko if he Nana really is thinking of winning the forthcoming elections, otherwise he should forget it. Nana's advisors or friends may be telling him to ignore Afoko but the truth is with the present state of affairs, he will definitely lose again. The infighting is too much at a time when Nana may have the best chance to win in the face of the NDC's mismanagement of the country. What is the real problem in the party that cannot be solved? Or is Nana himself the problem? Many Ghanaians would lose hope for survival if Nana is unable to put his party and political ambitions in order to enable him win power this time around. Some of us believe he does not really see the enormity of the problems and hurdles he has to surmount before achieving his presidential goals.He should not deceive himself that by doing nothing or not doing enough will get him results by the Grace of God.

Kojo P, did Nana suspend Afoko? If Afoko is thinking right he will not be saying all that he is saying. What does one benefit if one argues with a fool? What do you expect Nana to say so that you will believe that the NPP problems are solved? It is always the looser who tries to justify his position. Was Afoko above the laws of the party, because of his position as the chairman? So as the chairman if one of the elected elected officials had become a truant against the party's laws, how was he going to handle the issue? Nana did not suspend Afoko by himself, however, it carried out by structures within the party. Why is he blaming Nana? I think Afoko continues to say he is the chairman, even though suspended, what is his problem? Afoko is just acting foolishly and should be left in his own mess. The best Afoko could have done was to keep quiet and fight his course through appropriate channels, and if he does not win his quietness will earn him dignity within the party years to come. On the other hand Nana's quietness does mean he doesn't care but rather to leave Afoko to his foolishness and concentrate on his path of convincing Ghanaians that voting for him is a panacea to Ghana's problems.
