Thanks for your comments, Hydroponics need a lot of capital input, buildings, pipework and special feeds etc.Much better to use natural compost and fertilisiers to build up the soil density just as you suggested in your post. ...

Can ordinary farmers not be helped to pool their resources into Cooperatives and purchase tractors instead of the Govt getting involved in micro managing every sector of the economy?
