I always felt sorry for the nation anytime hired personalities criticized good policies of the NPP. The argument here is about finance and priority. If you have a government which delights in ensuring its faithfuls were able to acquire assets e.g. building fuel stations all over any available space in the country, how can teachers and nurses allowances can be paid. To the NPP, restoration of those allowances is a priority so what is your beef? When NPP proposed free SHS policy during the last campaign you remember how the policy was ridiculed. But these same people who criticized it initially made fun of it by implementing it to the disadvantage of all. When President Mahama promised 200 day schools in 2012, no one asked for the source funding for such projects as the President was going to use his personal money do all these. But when Nana Addo promised free SHS the whole NDC propagandists questioned how such a laudable policy was going to be funded. I am sorry for this old fashion educationist. It is not surprising that now if you want "anything" in the country you should know somebody in government, from Assembly Members to MPs, how and why?????? Is Ghana not a failed nation under NDC regime?????
