SRF Micro Credit Donates to the Village of Hope Orphanage

As part of activities during the festive season, SRF Micro Credit, a Ghanaian financial institution, has donated assorted items to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region. The items included foodstuff, water, toiletries among others.

According to the CEO of SRF Micro Credit, Sandrine R. Fantondji, "As part of our culture of giving back to society, we donate every year during the festive season. We make sure that needy persons and children in orphanages or hospitals get the reason to smile again, and that’s exactly what we have done this time again."

The Village of Hope Orphanage has a mission of saving lives and serving humanity through child care, education and healthcare.

The Village of Hope Group caters to the needs of 239 orphaned, needy and abandoned children; 848 children from pre-kindergarten to junior high; 268 high school students 32 street-connected and underprivileged teenagers; 50 sick people living in rural areas in the Gomoa Fetteh District of the Central Region of Ghana.

The Managing Director of the Hope Children's Villegas, Mr. Eric Osei as well as family heads and other staff of the orphanage, received the donation on behalf of the kids.

They were very appreciative of the gesture and said the items would go a long way to help cater for the needs of the children under their care.
