  Most road accidents come from the usual suspects—missing warning signs, poor road design, speeding, reckless driving, mechanical faults, and weak enforcement. Fix those, and half the roadside drama disappears. Thankfully, no one was injured here.
  But let’s be clear: a crash means hitting something—another car, a wall, a tree. Not a mini truck taking a quiet detour into the bushes. No collision, no injuries, yet it’s headline news.
  Unless, of course, the real emergency was rescuing the pizza and chicken.
  If it were kokonte and groundnut soup being transported, would it even make the news—especially with everything else happening on our roads and in the country?
  Which raises the question: is this really news, or just another attempt to spin a minor incident into a political jab about government neglect and President Mahama’s “Big Push” road agenda?
