Go and see how the Market Women who are mostly Asante, Kwahu, and Akyem ladies work hard to help their families. Asante women can’t be easily be treated badly, beaten or maltreated because they shall immediately walk away because they don’t depend on their husbands for their survival and that of their children. Very extremely hardworking.
My daughters are not Asante. They are all well employed in well respected professions in the Medical Sector. They also have High Powered Pistols and we sometimes go shooting. I have taught them to shoot without missing and to always hide two Pistols outside the house and use them to shoot to disable and or maim an abusive husband or boyfriend. Even if they don’t, I can do that with my friends. And my sons know very well that it is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for any of them to hit or beat a Girlfriend or Wife up. I can handle that in a way that they will never forget me for the rest of their lives.
