  If you are a teacher, be very vocal against any government and see where you will be. Do you know KOKOTEASUA? It is at Agona Kwabere area. 12 miles from Kofiase and 9 miles from Wiamoase by foot. Who wants to be transferred to such an area from Accra?

  Which transfer is dis gud for nothing man talking abt? De heads/directors vindictive transfers? Talking like dis only encourages evil heads. No wonder educ is failing.

  some teachers are on promotion for years now but their arrears are not never paid. shouldn't that be resolved before this verification exercise?

  As if the languages and foods are the only important issues here,corrupt idiot what other facilities do U provide for the Teachers to encourage them in the URBAN AREAS of NO-LIGHTS & TRANSPORTATION.Is the Teachers PAY ROLL list NOT FULL of GHOST NAMES? Whilst even their little allowances and arrears are also denied.

  To learn how to speak other languages and eat food from other areas? Mr Director General, I would have thought the most significant benefits of transfers are the sharing of professional skills and knowledge, and applying one's experiences to other stations for the overall benefit of the education service.
  
  For example, if a teacher or an officer is transferred from a rural area to say, Accra, that person can contribute effectively to decisions that impacts rural stations.
  
  In the same vein, sending someone from the city to a village can help change certain malpractices like frequent absenteeism and other issues.

  Government shouldn't be interested in transfering teachers but must also see it as vital thing paying transfer grants of teachers.
  Non-payment of their transfer grants won't help in quality teaching and learning. I hope transfer grants haven't also been scrapped by this current government.
