Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele has stayed over in England to watch his son debut against Chelsea later on today after helping him complete a switch to the Hammers from Swansea.
Abedi traveled to the United Kingdom to help his second son seal a record-breaking deal to West Ham United and will be at the Bridge to watch him play this evening.
Ayew is in line to debut for the London based club in what is expected to be a cracker in the first game of the season for both sides.
Chelsea finished a disappointing 10th last season but will be led by Italian Antonio Conte who is regarded as one of the best tacticians of modern day football.
Slaven Bilic also enjoyed maximum success and finished an impressive 7th position in what was his first season with the club.
Both sides will be looking to begin the season on the high after contrasting fortunes in the last campaign.
