Players need to arrive on time and enough preparations made for this matchup.

Hmmmmmm, I'm very sorry for the GBStars, because the mysteries of the GREAT PYRAMIDS still remained UNKNOWN. However, when it comes to the 'SUPREMACY' between a CLOUD AND THE STARS, your guess is as good as mine. The die has been cast and I could see the "Egyptians Pharaohs" with their 'ABRACADABRA MAGIC' eclipsing the Ghana Black Stars with their "EGYPTIAN CLOUD." What a piece of phenomenon event to watch. That is a wonderful food for thought. No insult please.

Who says we can't take down the Pharaohs?
All we need is 5-0 at home, that is, if we have Muntari, Dede, Essien, Kevin and John Mensah on board.
How do you expect your loyal secretary, your other faithful and the masses to handle it if you cannot hold up?
There was a big, 2-day fight between Slim and Joe Tex that ended yesterday.
I expected you to show up and assert some discipline, but you took flight.
The governor must always be here to flush out distracting fights.

Chairman you are right, friendly game doesn't count and therefore, can't be placed side by side with the playoffs.
Egypt is a solid side, as one forumite indicated, therefore, the preparation of this match should help Kwasi Appiah to bring it on. Kwasi Appiah's profession is based on these two encounters. Whether he could retain his job or not, will depend on how well he could orchestrate his chargers to win these two matches. Moreover it will help him to improve before the WC tournament begins.
All the facts presented at the other articles and this one are no where near the intensification of this upcoming play-off. Yes, it is good to have statistics in order to draw a domain based on that; however, this stats has nothing to do with what is at stake. All the statistics are on hold for now. They can't be taken into consideration as far as this play-off is at stake.
Here are my reasons:
Reason #1 None of the facts presented mentioned any relation of a WC play off. This is our first time in terms of WC play-off. I may be wrong but I never heard the African continent going into play-offs to decide which country is to go to the WC. This kind of play-off is familiar within the South American countries and in the European countries. Therefore, this is our first.
Reason #2 This is not an AFCON finals or a friendly match. There is no friendly in these coming two crucial matches. This is a do or die affair. It is either you win to snatch your ticket to Brazil or you loose to humbly receive your ticket to go home.
Reason #3 What makes this pair so serious is the fact that we, Ghanaians, want to hit a hat-trick by going to the WC for three consecutive times. Egypt on the other hand, wants to appear for their third time, though not back-to-back.
Reason #4 Egypt was hunted during the 2010 WC qualification by their own brothers, Algeria, and was eliminated. Instead of them to seek revenge from Algeria, their prayer has been answered to take it upon one of the West African giants, Ivory Coast, Nigeria or Ghana. In other words, for them to seek the desire to be paired with Algeria so that they may have the opportunity to revenge, they rather prayed to avoid Algeria so that they could have one of the West African Nations. According to their recent report, Egypt plays better against the West African Teams than against their neighbors, who are Tunisia, Libya, Morocco and of course, Algeria. They see the West African Teams as one of the best sides in the continent but plays better against us.
Reason #5 To us, for the fact that Egypt stopped us from winning our five AFCON trophy, this pair is seen as an opportunity to revenge. The friendly match that took place in January with a 3-0 win over Egypt, isn't enough. The coming encounter suit the magnitude of the pain Egypt inflicted upon us during the 2010 finals. I think after we are done with them at the end of November, we will be satisfied.
Reason #6 Bob Bradley, the Head Coach of the Egyptians, is searching for the right time to pay us back for the defeat he and his charges, (at that time was the head coach of the US National team) suffered when we beat them 2-1 at the round of 16th in the 2010 WC tournament. For this reason, whatever he hasn't studied yet from his coaching text books, I could bet you that he is going to cram into his little brain. The Soccernomics, Inverting the Pyramid, also translates as, "The History of Football Tactics", and the Brilliant Spain which as well could be translated as the Neurotic Genius of Spanish Soccer, these are few of the text books going to be read by this man for he is in this tag of war for a mission.
Therefore, Coach Appiah should get ready for the arrows about to be releasing unto our beloved Black Stars because what is coming is not about which nation won any of the friendlies, or even any of the AFCON trophies. It is about which nation has what it takes to grab the ticket to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

It is never realistic to expect any easy game at this stage. Each of the 10 teams has what it takes to send fear into the others.
For instance those who think playing Burkina Faso or Ethiopia is easy, will live to regret because these two teams are the teams of the moment. For these teams to make it after FIFA deducted their points shows how strong they are.
The records also show that Egypt is on the rise again. They were the only country to have won all their 6 matches but in the Black Stars, they have met their match.
I am sure the Egyptians are as hungry for Brazil as we are. Even in their most dreaded form from 2006 to 2010 when they won three African cups on the trot they were unable to qualify for the world cup. I don't think they can change that story now because our team is better than them.
This is the time for Akwasi Appiah to be bold and not allow the galaxy of stars at his disposal to intimidate him. For instance, Asamoah Gyan or any other star does not necessarily have to start a match. Vorsah and John Mensah should be made to join the team if they are not injured. There is no need for last-minute call-ups. By now, all those who will be involved in this clash-of-the-titans should be hinted so that they can keep themselves physically and mentally prepared. This is a match that Kevin Prince Boateng must play whether the field is hard or not. From the little we saw of Essien in the Zambian match, there is hope in him. And Sulley Muntari should be there. It means that, we are going to have a great starting eleven and a great bench - the rest is physical fitness and the grace of God. At the end of the day, it shall come to pass that, the Egyptians we see today we will never see again. (Exodus 14:13)

GFA and the management of the black Stars must work together to plan towards WC qualification.
All the necessary arrangements must be made so that the players are focused on winning.
The Black stars need to improve team work and play as a cohesive unit. We must retain possession and work to win the ball back. We must defend with discipline and break swiftly with effect. Finishing must be clinical.
The Egyptians are physical, and we must counter that with intelligence and speed.
We must win our home gain handsomely and keep a clean sheet. The bigger the win, the easier our task in the return leg.
We should recall Anthony Annan to bolster our midfield. His discipline will be a shield for our defence. Adiyiah's pace and goals will be a useful option - he should be in the squad.

Stop spraying political nonsence and consentrate on beating egypt

GOOD LUCK STARS
He does not call the right players. Remember that he is "building" a team and experimenting. Good bye Ghana.
Do the right things and qualify. The include:
1. A twenty four hour surveillance on opponents;
2. Early camping
3. Getting the right players and avoiding favouritism - No Inkoom or Iddiya invitations,

Bad selection is killing black Star. Why keep playing Afful in left back while the guy is not left player.Meanwhile there are more left back around. We need Lee Ardy , John Mensah , Vorsah, Akaminko and Massawudu in the team.
Good points.

It is my position that all big names aside, Wakasso and Rabiu must be on the field. They have demonstrated the highest work rate for the Black Stars over the past year. They are the new core of the team.
Where is John Mensah? All kidding aside we need Sulley Muntari and also need a big time soccer brain consultant to assist Kwasi Appiah.Relying on K A and his technical team alone will not cut it.
lf you see his technical men you may laugh to die. All their stomach look like they have baby for nine months.Nothing dey their head , the so called technical men
Kwesi Appiah is simply out of his league.
Watch the tapes of Ghana's performance at the last Afcon. On what basis is your confidence about getting by Egypt to Brazil.? Get the Black Stars a new coach or in the interim someon ...
