I am sorry young man, not this time. Gone are the days of inviting mediocre players. buddy.

Masawudu Alhassan is one of the finnest left Back Ghana currently has, but Nepotism and Favoritism is keeping that guy out of the Stars sqaud. Check AFCON 2012 videos and you'll agree with me.
Afful is just a try and error ...

Now everybody wants a spot. Where were all these average players when we were struggling to qualify. Where we they when some gallant men walked in the mist of bombs and beatings in Egypt and Zambia respectfully?

How can this guy be part of it when he as not invited?

Masahudu Alhassan is a good player; but I believe that Appiah is being tribalistic. This guy and Rashid Abdul of Berekum Chelsea should be invited.

Will you stop this tribalism nonsense? Harrison Afful and Samuel Inkoom are both not Ashantis. How many of the players are Ashantis? Asamoah Gyan is not even Ashanti.

He may be good per your lowered standards in all things. Even if he is good we have better players than and we are going to Brazil not with good players but best players. You can accuse AA with anything, he is not going to se ...

I am seeing a trend here. Is there a reason why Yahya Mohammed is not part of the Black Stars?

He has all the attributes a Center Forward should have and score goals, yet he is being ostracized.

I PERSONALLY DON'T KNOW WHY THIS GUY IS NOT IN THE SQUAD. TO ME HE WAS THE BEST DEFENDER AT AFCON 2012. HE IS STRONG, FAST, SKILLFUL, AND CAN'T BE INTIMIDATED BY ANY PLAYER. I STRONGLY BELIEVE LOOKING AT THE CALIBER OF DEFEND ...

How many high school footballers has he stopped?

  • Kwasi 10 years ago

He was the best defender during AFCON 2012. He is also taller than Inkoom, Afful, Opare and Essien to defend aerial balls.

Aerial balls is our biggest weakness on defense. None of our defenders are tall enough to handler ...

"None of our defenders are tall enough" …..these defenders are tall: Vorsah, Boye, Jonathan, and Akaminko. If Masahudu is in top form, it's up to AA to call him. I do not know why he 'fell off the radar'

  • anokwale 10 years ago

I think he was adequate at AFCON 2012. Because of his height, he is worth taking a look at. I cannot say that any of our lateral defenders can claim to be superior to him. Let us see what he can do in a tough friendly.
