The strikers & attacking midfielders have to shoot the ball accurately & with some power & more conviction--instead of the endless & meaningless passing.The Stars' backfield was weak, against the USA, especially the two fullbacks always committed themselves & made it easier for the opposing strikers to get by them. Please insert Essien in the backfield; use Kevin P-B, Muntari, Agyeman Badu, Kojo Asamoah, Andre Ayew, Gyan, & all the experienced & strong & capable players from the get-go. This is what Coach Appiah & his coaching staff should have done in the opening game: it was a "no brainer" for any experienced coach. There's no time to waste, nor experiment with novices; & no excuses & no second-guessing, ---please Coach Appiah, if you can hear the fans' constructive suggestions. "Go Black Stars Go!"

Don't give them the space. See how Chile policed Spain to the point where they could not play their game. If we are that aggressive and not stand around waiting for the ball we can beat them. But will the coach emphasize that or rather look for tactical approach for the German to get tired and make a substitution or something similar... Back to basic be hungry to win,review crossing into the 18 yard area, don't give them room, don't lose concentration-- mark them tight. God's grace will make the difference at the end.

His so called Daddy (Monhrino)rejected him when he came back to chelsea. In fact he asked Essien to go. Struggling AC Milan took him on Pay as you play basis. They hardly use him. Every sensible coach in the world knows there is nothing left Essien. Akwasi Appiah should have in the first place left him out of the Team if were serious.
