Any good administrator will never take such a hasty decision by firing Boateng and Muntari because some of their colleagues will surely agree with the players but will not come out to say it. There was an opportunity to address the problem without escalating it, but the guys managing the team are fuckers and that reflects on the decisions they made

The reality is that the Black Stars chances were doomed even before the tournament began. The fact is Ghana had more chances to beat all the 3 teams in our group. Some people had attributed this our dismal failure to ill luck. In some ways that was a major contributory factor. For how on earth can 2 Ghanaians; one a member of the GFA and another with links with the body go behind the scenes to arrange for the defeat of Ghana in a friendly match against the US our first opponents on the proviso that Ghana was going to beat the US for a third time? Nature abhors dishonesty; foul play and injustice and tend to ensure perpetrators are punished in the long term. To arrange a fraudulent football match involving the Black Stars whilst Ghanaians are praying and making supplications for the team's success brought a bad omen for the team. No wonder our proud record at the WC suffered a spectacular disaster; finishing last in our group. It is time these 2 corrupt crooks are thrown away from anything to do with Ghana football for ever.

Expulsion, in my view, did not affect Ghana. If you have been following the tournament you would know that Muntari was yellow carded when Ghana played Germany and that resulted in the player's suspension in the following game which was against Portugal. For Boateng, I understand, he insulted an official of the Ghana FA in Brasil and am inclined to believe if that was not true he would not have been sent away. Even without these incidents, I could observe from the first of Ghana's game against the USA that indiscipline in the team as some of the players behaved on the field. I think the way forward for Ghana is to reconstitute the Ghana team with locally groomed players and forget about those plying their trade abroad as they tend to believe that they are more knowledgeable about the game than the coach himself. Furthermore, without saying, they consider themselves wealthier than the coach and with this in their minds there is bound to be indiscipline. Having said that, I also think that Ghana should employ the services of a foreign coach with proven credentials just like the time Ghana had George Ainsley soon after independence and we defeated Nigeria by seven goals to nil in the 1950s. It appears to me that Ghana is static in the game and something has to be done about it.

Have you heard Maxwell talk about Muntari and Boateng sack. He knows the guys needed not that harsh punishment at this all important tourney. Couldn't that have waited for the last match to be played?
Maxwell and about half the players who played against Portugal hated the sacking idea.
Coach Appiah should equally be sacked for poor performance and Maxwell be put in acting role. GFA must explain to the committee to be set by the president why Appiah's contract was harshly renewed just weeks to the World Cup though enough time available even after.
Was it intentional to make way for judgment debt?
