Family, sympathizers wail as pallbearers lift KABA's casket

Handkerchiefs which were not being used to wipe sweats but tears went up and down on people's faces at the funeral of late KABA.

That was the mood at the forecourt of the State House on Saturday morning where hundreds of people, gathered to pay their last respects to the late KABA.

With red and black colours dominating the ambiance at the forecourt of the State House, some mourners, including members of the bereaved family, schoolmates, church members, friends, work colleagues, and well-wishers intermittently cried as pallbearers gently lift the casket containing the mortal remains of the late journalist for interment.

Members and leaders from both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as well as other political parties were all there to pay their last respect to the late broadcaster.

The late KABA before and after his demise was described as someone who led an exemplary life and a ‘true gentleman’ by many.
