Leader of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has dared any pastor who believes staking lotto is a sin to swear by the Bible.
According to him, there is absolutely nothing wrong with one opting to stake lotto in a bid to make money. In one of his pre-recorded videos, Bishop Obinim said staking lotto is not a sin, explaining that it is God who gives him the numbers.
The pastor has often been criticized for distributing lotto numbers to members of his congregation.
However, he maintains that the instruction to give out the lotto numbers is Christ’s way of allowing others to have a fair share of the national cake.
“Every pastor that has spoken against the staking of lotto must come out and curse themselves. I proclaim, that if it is not God who gave me the lotto numbers to give to my congregation, then He should kill me before Sunday,” Obinim said.
“God should destroy me [if I’m lying]. I will say it again; God gave me those lotto numbers.”
The International God's Way Church head pastor also lashed out at his colleague preachers who normally criticised his work.
According to him, such people are fools who go around destroying the work of God.
