The meeting formed part of President Mahama's engagements in the UK, where he has held discussions with political leaders, investors, and members of the Ghanaian community.

Prior to the palace meeting, President Mahama visited several key institutions in London, including the London Stock Exchange and the Palace of Westminster, which houses the UK Parliament.

The President also participated in meetings with business leaders and investment stakeholders aimed at promoting trade and investment opportunities in Ghana.

His engagements focused on attracting foreign direct investment, strengthening economic partnerships, and deepening cooperation between Ghana and the United Kingdom.

He also met with members of the Ghanaian community in the UK and delivered a speech, as well as participated in an interview, at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, commonly known as Chatham House, a British think tank based in London.

The visit comes as Ghana seeks to expand international partnerships, boost investor confidence, and enhance bilateral relations with strategic partners following the country's recent economic reforms.

Buckingham Palace serves as the official London residence and administrative headquarters of the British monarch.

The palace has been the centre of Britain's constitutional monarchy since the reign of Queen Victoria and is regularly used for state visits, diplomatic receptions, and official audiences with world leaders.
