Egypt face host Russia this evening
Good evening and welcome to the final game of the day and it is the start of the second group games.
After a superb victory by Senegal earlier today, Egypt, one of five African reps at the tournament will go again and hope this time they are lucky when the face off with host nation Russia.
Egypt lost their first game of the tournament to Uruguay and they know they need a result here if they are to keep alive their ambition of getting out of the Group.
The big news is that Liverpool star Mo Salah has been named in the starting Xi after being left on the bench for the opening clash against Uruguay. The forward, of course, picked up a shoulder injury in the Champions League final, but is set to face the World Cup hosts this evening.
He replace Amr Warda in the only change to the side that lost to Uruguay.
Russia thrashed Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the opening game of the finals to go top of Group A, while Egypt were beaten 1-0 by Uruguay to leave their hopes of progress in doubt.
Game starts at 6pm GMT.
