LIVESTREAMING: 1st Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ahiafor presides over sitting for the 1st time

Members of the 9th Parliament of Ghana have reconvened Thursday, January 9, 2024, for deliberations in the House.

Bernard Ahiafor, the Member of Parliament for Akatsi South, and newly appointed 1st Deputy Speaker of the 9th Parliament, is presiding over the sitting for the first time.

The day's session is set to focus on discussions surrounding the ministerial nominees submitted to the House by President John Dramani Mahama.

This follows Wednesday's activities, where the House finalised the formation and composition of committees, delegations, groups, and associations tasked with managing parliamentary functions.
