Former President John Dramani Mahama has announced his campaign team to lead the National Democratic Congress for the 2020 general elections.
According to a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Daniel Ohene Agyekum, a former Chairman of COCOBOD and former Ambassador to USA, will be the campaign manager for his team.
He will be deputized by Nii Vandepuye Djangmah, a former Regional Greater Accra Regional Minister.
Mr. Mahama has also named the former Deputy Minister for Information, James Agyenim-Boateng as his Spokesperson.
"I am fortunate to have the backing of such an impressive group of hardworking people, who are as committed as I am to the road ahead. Their combination of years of experience, vision, energy and new ideas is inspiring and I am excited to work with them. We are visiting our delegates in the Regions to hear what they have to say, listen to their concerns as well as their views on how we can move the party and Ghana forward", the statement read.
Other members of Ex-President Mahama's campaign team include Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw as Second Deputy Campaign Manager, Elsie Esenam Appau-Klu as first Deputy Spokesperson, Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie - second Deputy Spokesperson, Dr Callistus Mahama - Administrative and operations coordinator, Former Interior Minister Kwesi Ahwoi, Former Fisheries Minister Sherry Ayitey, Alexander Kofi-Mensah Mould, Priscilla Arhin and Alfred Abayateye as Stakeholder Coordinators.

Nii Vandepuye Djangmah is a former Deputy Regional Minister for the Greater Accra Region. He is also a former Regional Secretary with strong expertise in leadership training and grassroots mobilization. He is also 2011 GAME Campaign Coordinator.

Elsie Esenam Appau-Klu is a lawyer, Human Resource practitioner, Policy Analyst and Water Governance Specialist. She has over 14 years work experience as a Policy Analyst, project management expert and social development specialist with particular expertise in water governance, gender and public management issues. She has advised and worked on various projects with the World Bank, African Development Bank, the UN systems and several donor groups in Ghana and Africa. And she has received several awards and recognitions including African Achievers Awards 2018 – UK House of Commons, 40under Forty Achiever 2017. Elsie is married and has three sons.

Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie holds an MBA in international Business Strategy from Henley Business School in the UK and a Bachelor’s in Information Technlogy. She has experience in oil and gas, and media management. ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Dr Callistus Mahama holds a PhD in Land Law and an MPhil in Land Economy both from the University of Cambridge, England, the United Kingdom. He originally graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a BSc in Land Economy. He is currently a Visiting Research Fellow of the University of Cambridge at the Centre for Property Law. He is also a former Head of the Local Government Service.

Alexander Kofi-Mensah Mould holds BSc in Chemical Engineering from KNUST, Kumasi, and an MBA in Finance, Accounting and Decision Science from J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston Illinois, USA.
He has over 20years management experience in oil and gas sector, specifically in petroleum refining and supply (downstream) and in exploration and production (upstream), as well as 15 years experience in investment and corporate banking. He was Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and National Petroleum Authority, and the Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank, Ghana.
Amb. Kwesi Ahwoi is a former Ambassador to South Africa with concurrent accreditation to Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, Comoros, Swaziland and Lesotho. He was Minister for the Interior, and Food and Agriculture. He was also an Assembly Member for Sefwi Wiawso District Assembly.
Priscilla Arhin holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Cape Coast. She is a former Metropolitan Chief Executive for Cape Coast Metropolis and a former executive member of the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG). She is a former NDC Women’s Organiser for Cape Coast constituency and a one-time Asembly Member for Cape Coast Metropolis.
Madam Sherry Ayitey is a former Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development. She was previously the Minister for Health and before that Minister for Environment, Science and Technology. She is a former National Vice Chairperson of the National Democratic Congress.
Alfred Abayateye is a former Member of Parliament for Sege Constituency. Prior to that, he worked at the Bank of Ghana for over 27 years.
