You don’t have any question of your own? - President 'mocks' Joy FM presenter

Host of Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Kojo Yankson has had his share of President Akufo-Addo’s “mockery” when he stood up to question the first gentleman of Ghana on Wednesday at the Flagstaff House.

The President was interacting with journalists on the occasion of his one year in office.

After answering several questions from journalists, it was the turn of Kojo Yankson to present his question to President Akufo-Addo.

Looking elegant in his suit and facing the microphone, the ‘Morning Man” said, “I thought I’d use this opportunity to ask a question a listener sent to me because he can’t be here.”

The President burst into laughter and sarcastically retorted, “So you don’t have any question of your own?”

“If I am being honest Mr. President, I have many questions to ask but I chose to ask the question a listener sent to me,” Kojo Yankson replied.

He however went ahead to ask President Akufo-Addo if he intends to keep his 110 ministers or he would reduce the size.

The President responded, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating, let me say the performance of the government, so far I believe the government is performing well, that is my assessment and you may have a different assessment. They were brought in to do a job not to fill spaces and I believe they are doing a good job.”
