  Treason appeals go straight to the Supreme Court Senior Darteh. Because it is tried by three Superior Court Justices, their appeal need not go to the CoA. It goes straight to the SC

  Criminal defendants may present evidence that raises a reasonable doubt as to the crime they are alleged to have committed or cross examine the state's evidence in a bid to raise a reasonable doubt; but they dont have to defend themselves or prove a thing! They are innocent until proven guilty beyond and to the exclusion of every single reasonable doubt. Big difference. A senior lawyer saying that they were given time to defend themselves is inaccurate. Secondly the appeal goes to the SC not COA in this instance.

  This is not about how long the trial took. It’s about the trumped up charges. The main target of the trial was a quite and rightly so.
