Mumu half baked primitive David, Dr Kwame Nkrumah came to power due the great support from the Ashantis who vote majority to the Cpp. Dr Kwame Nkrumah lost power when the Ashantis left him alone due to not listening to Otumfour Asantehene telling him not to divide the Ashanti region into Bono Ahafo region. Because the Otumfour Asantehene knew that when you divide the Ashanti kingdom into Bono Ahafo region it would cause confusion and now after almost 60 years the problem has started coming out. If the Dr Kwame Nkrumah could have listen to Otumfour Asantehene the kotoka, Deku, General Ankrah and Harley wouldn't have succeeded to overthrow him.

Why was there no elections for 6 years of his rule: a pure dictator who was to rule for ever. And by the way, Nkrumah never gave back any Peduase lodge to the state. He was still living there till he got kicked out by Kotoka coup

Peduase Lodge was built in 1959 by an Italian firm that had won a contract at Tema harbour. It was given to Ghana and a decision at a cabinet meeting was to gift the Lodge to Nkrumah who sold it back to Ghana, pocketed the money, and then moved in as president for life.

Extensions and renovation was carried out by Mr Kobina Agbeli Gbedemah then the Minister of Finance as a thank you birthday present from Ghanaians To Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. When Dr. Kwame Nkrumah realised that Mr. Gbedemah had used public funds from the contributions from the CPP market Women for the Renovation without his approvals he was not happy about that decision. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah then went to Parliament and thanked the Nation for that kindly gesture and then added that if he should die as the Head of State of Ghana the next head of state should have access and use of the place. Find out from Hansard. It is there in plain black and white. Now the legality of the whole case is that Our Dr. Kwame Nkrumah did Not die as the President or the head of state of Ghana. Here lies the Spiritual Curse of the use of the Peduase Lodge by any President using it as a PRESIDENTIAL Lodge. It is Not a state property. Unless the lodge is given to the family or the children of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah or leased from them then I am afraid the mighty Cosmic Curse will always be there in perpetuity. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Nkrumah was declared President for Life. He was more like a deity and did not need private property. He didn't not have a 4 year term or exgratia. He and the state were one. Who needs a house when the whole state is yours for life. That he was quite certain of. And it all makes sense. He wasn't in a hurry to leave. Indeed when he was overthrown he said it was only a matter of time and Ghanaians will request for his return. Alas it never happened in his lifetime.
