LoL...you were a hwaker and cleaner. These jobs are for the poor so you can't tell us you have not experienced poverty before.
I disagree with. Hawking does not equate to poverty. Someone can on the streets and live better than someone working in a comfortable office. Quite recently, I engaged some coconut sellers and you would blown by how much th ...

I get you, but that does not mean the said hawker never experienced poverty. How could a cleaner claimed he never experienced poverty before? Lol
It was poverty that led him into doing those jobs. He could be rich today, but he started off as a poor man, hence he has tasted poverty before. Who comes from a rich background and sells on the streets...Aw..
@lazyman.Oh how.You lack understanding.look up the definition of poverty.
This man is an inspiration,it pays to work hard and be honest in your dealings with others
Poverty comes in different forms. 80% of teachers end up being poor in their pension years. Despite the fact that they are one of the most hardworking and honest groups in Ghana. So its not a straight cut black and white!
Poverty is a mindset.
THANK YOU LAZY MAN
Lazy Man you have what I call poverty mindest,Wow you really believe that cleaning and hawking job is for poor people, every job is a job there nothing like poor people job,for a lot of people poverty is a mindset, imagine peop ...

Who told you that cleaning is for the poor? It is better than most jobs in Ghana. A lot of people are doing cleaning and they are rich
Black man's attitude.
He may. have been misquoted bcoz being an old student of Adonten Secondary School itself means he has suffered b4.That school was a "hell" in the 70s & 80s.How many could pass their O Levels in those days?
Time wasters
I know him in london shodhich ,close to liverpool street. he has a shipping company call seacasse.,Yaw how are you.
You are correct, his company is SEACAS.
I know him very well, both in Ghana and in London. We are actually friends.
We grew up in the same area at Kantamanto. His father was Mr Opare and his elder Bro: Opare.
It appears as though am the only lost one here. The narrative points to the fact that he dumped school to chase after money. Fine ! But the story goes further to indicate that he has a background in electrical engineering. I ...

Ua right. Oh then british medical association, hmmm. But great job, he is successful. Congratulations
Must have completed vocational courses in the UK.
People get experience on the job all the time nothing new here, know many IT professionlas,HR professionals etc who never did formal education in those areas
He really doesn't understand the word poverty. You did menial jobs but never experienced poverty, how? Having 3 square meals does not necessarily mean you were not poor. Then he said he had experience in electrical engineering ...

Do you only study at school? He could be an apprentice. He never said he had a certificate.
It's his life story let him tell it if he wishes to do so to make him happy. Don't challenge it.
Where is poverty if a cleaner can feed and cloth his family?
Doing menial does not make you poor
He became redundant in his job in the United Kingdom and that's when he learnt electrical engineering. He was in Sixth form in Ghana when he dropped out to chase money. Listen well to the interview.
Adonten was not sixth form school
Nice
Give me his contact
May the good Lord bless me just like this man and I will tell my story to the world one-day
Amen. When you become successful remember to help others and stay humble.
Typical CV of Ghanaians in EU nations but particularly the UK. A man who dropped out of secondary school in Ghana migrates to the UK but throws around words like electrical engineering and medical tech. As years pass us by we ...

It's not your hard work. Some work harder than you but remain at the fringes of success. It's the Grace of God.
For some Kwahu people it is normal.
And so what? So you will never die one day? And how have your riches impacted positively on your immediate family members , Hometown folks, residential area in terms of development?
what is the bragging about? tell us how many people you helped with your wealth.
Stupid....he doesn't need to help anyone....Ghanaians and always looking for someone to help them. Why don't you Ghanaians go work hard earn your own money. He is not supposed to help anybody....period. Ghanaians are just laz ...

Being an electrician is not the same as electrical engineer. Technician belongs to the vocational field, engineering is highly skilled field. Regardless he has done well for himself and needs to be commended.
Write your comment you never experince poverty before so what
I know this man (Christian) very very well at Kantamanto.
His father was Mr Opare and he attended Derby Avenue Roman Catholic Primary school.
He lived in the same house as Alima, the popular waakye seller.
Christian, give THANKS AND PRAISE ie be GRATEFUL to your parents, especially your father Mr Opare, who provided for you so that you did not see poverty when you were young.
When we were selling car duster, sardines, PK et ...

This man is on benefits in the UK and so what's he talking about.
Poverty is a mindset however I think he is just bragging, he doesn't understand the word Poverty. Bragging is a common thing among some tribes, am sorry but that's the truth
hard to believe the man many details are missing in his story
Unbelievable? This is useless news.No substantance and lacks public interest.
Regards.
Thanks, I was going to ask the same question how can a drop out become an engineer? Then what did he do at the medical association? Maybe he also became a doctor!
Stupid cleaner in western world, you think cleaning is for rich people? You’re a poor soul if you don’t know. Stupid old fool
I don't see the reason for a lot of pained comments about an astute man. Why not go out there and make your own money instead of this needless loose talk about school dropout this, and poverty that? Learn to mind your busines ...
