I regret witnessing the US embassy auctioning items banned by the Republic of Ghana, such as used old mattresses(which has seen lots of sexual activities with prostitutes from Nkrumah circle) unserviceable fridges, and a completely written-off V8 Land Cruiser. These include outdated washing machines, dryers, air conditioning units, and water dispensers that may no longer be environmentally friendly. I urge the Ghana police to exclude non-energy-efficient and environmentally harmful appliances from the auction to prevent potential damage to the ozone layer if used in Ghana. It's disheartening to see the USA selling these outdated items that likely won't find buyers at the Abeka Lapaz ‘Borla’ market.
