All I can hear from the comment section are rabid, raging homophobes resulting to ad hominem attacks because they have no real argument and using excuses like "tradition" and "culture" to hide behind shows a severe lack of historical knowledge when it relates to the LGBTQIA+.

LGBTQIA+ has always existed in Ghana before the coming of the demonic European missionaries that have brainwashed Ghanaians into believing in fairytales from a plagiarized book and will continue to exist in Ghana whether you like it or not. Pre-Colonial Ghana was a vastly more accepting society toward those of the LGBTQIA+ compared to the ignorant masses of today using American Christian Right talking points and dog whistles like the "nuclear family" which is a recent invention and product of post-WW2 racist, Jim Crow America.

This lady is 100% correct, this is a obvious and political distraction to move peoples attention away from the incompetence and failings of the Politcians running Ghana like Sam George who is also a massive hypocrite when he spent his Christmas in a country that has protections of the LGBTQIA+. How ironic! Inshort, they are using a scapegoat to pin all of Ghana woes onto yet comments clearly present a lack the cognitive ability to see this.

None of you numskulls seem to understand the bill also violates Article XXI, Chapter V of the 1992 Ghanaian consitutition too. So, its subject to the courts review. This bill also has severe conquences if it is allowed to become law like America removing Ghana from AGOA that the country largely benefits from its duty free traiffs to export to the United States market. Also, USAID cut for many important social programs and such. No one wants to become another Uganda run by the tinpot dictator's family looting his homeland.

I, too, urge Nana Akufo-Addo to reject the bill. Ghana has much more important issues to address to fix its turbulent economy.

Being a so called professor, one would have expected her to understand the traditional cultural and social values of her motherland. This behavior is foreign and forbidden by our culture and our ancestors and it is encumbered upon us to maintain those values .
No one is stopping her from advising her children to adopt those lifestyles . She is free to do that but as a nation , we stand against these lifestyles. She can use her platform as a professor to promote that lifestyle on her platform but the law will come after her .
