Some of you just write some nonsense heaping praises on these useless Akuffo Addo appointees. Kokofu leaving on high notes and high achievements for where? Like seriously? I dare anyone to tell which part of Ghana's environment or eco systems have seen any improvements during this man's tenure? This guy spent most of the time attending so many unnecessary climate conferences without any improvements in our environment. He is an Ashanti. During his time, galamsey pits have increased tenfold in the region and elsewhere. Just asking parliament to pass laws is no achievement. Akuffo Addo has passed billions of laws through parliament. What is its impact on society? Naniama.

Can Ghanaians wake up, vigilant and be careful of the environmental issues. Cocoa production have fallen more than 50%, 'galamsey' have destroyed most of the landscape and the authorities are watching like, " sick idiots" allowing people destroying everything. 'Galamsey' money goes to few individuals and they get at least 5% of what cocoa can bring to the nation. ' Galamsey' is just once while cocoa farming brings yield yearly. Water bodies, forest and landscapes have been destroyed. And the sleeping authorities are using politics but not any law. Unthinkable and greedy elders, politicians and authorities are all behaving like " zombies" unable to voice and bring hash laws to protect the our lands and water bodies. Are we going to import water from China?

Promised salary increment of 20% months was not fulfilled, under his tenure , salaries has been increased only once. He was able to squander the Agencies money with the help of Mr Addae( Finance Director) they have really done massive damage to the institution. Mr Addae is still at post, he is really looting all the money, he is such a greedy man.Therefore i find it so disgusting for you as Ghanaweb for publishing such false information…

He spearheaded wanton exploitation of Ghana's forest legacy by way of GSBAs by championing surface mining and logging in them. These forests are meant for posterity by within his short tenure he's permanently led their destruction forever and we shall never have them back. Dr. Kwabena Kokofu left EPA on high note when he sat down and looked on whilst our water bodies and the lands got destroyed and laced with mercury. He deserved to have been impeached. This is Ghana where everyone draws salaries for nothing and got praised after feeding fat. Shame on all of us for choosing selfishness and dishonesty instead of building a nation with posterity in mind.

This man with an online fake doctorate degree was give free samples of water treatment chemicals which had proven effective in the US for water pollution to present to his technical staff for efficacy testing. Can you believe he left the samples at his hotel because he had exceeded the required airline baggage weight requirements due to to his personal shopping needs? And the trip and per diem was at taxpayers expense. And he jumped at every opportunity to attend every environmental conference in the world wasting tax payers money. He does not deserve any commendation and in his case its good riddance of a notoriously selfish and self serving politician.
