Since Nigerians moved to my own place of birth about 5 years ago, four people are missing:

Case 1: two young girls went to fetch water from a stream. They never returned and have not been found since then - two years from now
FYI: the stream is so low, nobody can drown in it, so drowning is out.

Case 2: a man went to his farm to weed - never returned, since two years.

Case 3: a woman went to her farm to fetch cassava - never returned, since last year

Fear has gripped the place so much so that people are afraid to go to farm or river alone. They always have to form a group of several people to be able to do that.

Prior to the arrival of these Nigerians, NOTHING of that sort had ever happened. In all the 15 years I lived there, no single person got missing.
