If there was fraud indeed, how come this was never raised or uncovered since judgement was handed down against the govt. in 2009? Seems fraud is simply a feeble excuse for the govt. To delay the inevitable snowball mounting judgement debt.

What exactly was the legal basis for setting aside the judgement debt? Nothing on that?

If an appeals court handed down judgement against the govt. in 2009, how did the AG manage to "bend" the laws of the land and set aside an appeals court judgement after sleeping for over a decade? Isn't there a stipulated time of less than a month to appeal a case? As far as my research shows, the supreme Court is the only court which can legally achieve that and there was no such judgement by the supreme Court.

Judgement debt is a create, loot and share game. It invariably involves, the claimant, the judiciary and the office of the AG, together with other officials from the offices of the finance ministry and Accountant General.

Setting aside a case means absolutely nothing and definitely doesn't mean the end of this case. It simply means the AG has been attempting unsuccessfully to dupe the claimants and judgement creditors of their rightful claim.

Mr. AG, stop lying to the Ghanaian public and do the just and noble thing and sit with the judgement creditor and negotiate their claim. Despite the huge claim against you, it is never too late to negotiate with the people you owe.

Mr. Minister of Justice, your words and actions stink of unjust lies.

The much bigger concern is, if judgement was handed down against the state way back in 2009, why is this case still an ongoing issue?

This most probably means only one thing. The judgment amount back in 2009 would have been a much smaller figure but due to the negligence and carelessness of the government, they refuse to deal with the problem and the amount keeps compounding.

Nothing this AG should be proud of and going about boasting. Such careless bunch of fools.
