Hehehe........ I knew this was definitely going to happen. I've been saying it for eons since John's passing, that her husband's parliamentary seat is her target, judging by the way this woman was conducting herself in the me ...

This method of selecting a Parliamentary Candidate must stop. We must think of quality of candidates as opposed to appealing to emotions.
What's now happening in NPP reminds me of a Naja movie I watched years ago - the tune that was constantly played in the movie goes like this: kill your husband, make your life better aa.
STOP bringing inheritance concept into national politics otherwise more MPs would have huge target on their backs even in their own bedrooms
Frankie come for your stone, they will begin to kill their husbands very soon,u don't give this diabolic and greedy gender the chance to willfully slaughter their husbands in order to inherit them.
Since when did Lawyer Maurice Ampaw become a leading member of the NPP. Did he say so or it is GHANAWEB that is ascribing it to him and by the way who are the other leading members that are advocating so.
I thought Mike Ocquaye is the MP for Dome Kwabenya, or he's been disqualified.
He unseated Adwoa Sarfo in the party’s selection or primaries. That makes Ocquaye Jnr the presumptive MP after 2024 because Kwabenya will likely vote NPP
He is the candidate for the next election which NPP wwill lose.
How did he become d MP?He is now going to contest for d seat in December.
Fmr MP Basoa had no wife? Why was his wife or mother of his children not given the MP role after his death???
Madam Kumah. They will use you and then throw you away.Right now because of your emotional state you are very very vulnerable, feeling very weak, yet very angry and vengeful. This is a very dangerpous time for you both emotional ...

Shortage of NPP legislators; prophetesses to step in and NPP tainted clergy to be considered as running mates. In the mean time, Maame Water chew up fiber cables to disrupt internet services. Ghana is in a mess indeed.
It is becoming one too many now because, if care is not taking, people could be instigating the premature termination of their spouses in order to benefit from this "artificial parliamentary dynasty" being created. Hmmm
There are people within the Constituency in line who should be considered.
Agreed! It’s becoming a bad precedent! If allowed, MPs could be killed by their spouses so easily just to become MPs themselves! Stop it now!!
It’s undemocratic and not in accord with the will of the governed to pass on the candidacy automatically to the wife. First, we can’t be sure her secret vote is for the party, despite her husband’s position as MP. Secon ...

JB Danquah Adu's wife Ivy Heward Mills should be made an MP. Why do you hate JB Danquah Adu and his wife like that Dwarf Akufo Monkey Addo?
Ejisu NPP members will be stupid if they allow someone from another constituency to take over the seat.
Adwoa Safo please, this is not about consolation, it's about competency and qualification. Why should we put her there if she is not qualified? That is why our country has reached this stage. We put unqualified people to occu ...

THIS CLEARLY SHOWS THAT NPP IS NPP IS MORE INTERESTED IN THE WELFARE OF THE PARTY AND ITS MEMBERS THAN THE WELFARE OF THE GENERAL COMMUNITY. They just want to win power and nothing else
Stupid commentary from Adwoa Safo. Should constituencies be for vote for husband, get the free to succeed him? What kind of mindset is this? So MPs in constituencies must be limited and reserved for a husband and wife for a w ...

It'll be interesting seeing prophetesses turn legislators. We're not serious in this country no wonder the stunted growth we're recording. Prophets in parliament and pastors bring considered as running mates indeed!!
Ejisuman, the window is already consoled with multi billion dollar inheritance so ignore the window and vote on bases of the people welfare.
Am not surprised, since day one when the husband passed on she has always be in the news making her voice heard. It not News since we have seen that happened in the past in the NPP
Don't put ideas into her mind. She doesn't even want her children to serve the nation by doing politics. Besides she is a pastor, Coming from you Ajoa no one will vote for her.
Sometimes I asked my self why ghana? What kind of thinking and leaders do we have? Just see their way of thinking makes you feel nothing will come out of these thieves and rascals. I don’t know if parliament is not turning ...

She should be allowed to pave way for other wives of sitting MPs to be murdered by their wives in other to get to Parliament.
Is the seat the property of John Kuma's family? NONSENSE!!. Let the NPP look for an equally or better qualified person to continue with the work of Kuma, more especially when Kyei Mensa Bonsu and Joe Osei Wusu are leaving Pa ...

THEN EVERY MP WAIFE SHOULD BE PRAYING HER HUSBAND DIES FOR HER TO ALSO BE AN MP THEN POISONING WILL INCREASE VERY IF THIS POLICY THE WAY TO GO MORE MPs TO DIE AND THEIR BECOME MPs .
I support the idea. At least 2 or 3 women are in parliament because their husbands died. This good policy should continue unabated. Kudos to NPP
This nonsense must stop. Why should the wife be allowed to contest. Parliament is not about family issues n father Xmas. Enough of this nonsense before we realized people may be taking the life of their partners.
Women
My thinking aloud:
For sometime now I can observe that in Ghana's politics a subculture of widows replacing their deceased husbands is taking root.

Nkwasiasem nkoa,so is a trend, then all male NPP Mps should step down for their wifes before they die.
In NPP is your husband dies and he's an MP,you automatically become a parliamentary candidate BOI!
NPP must stop this nonsense! Be more objective and stop this silly replacement of wives when their husbands pass on in parliament. Very dangerous trajectory.
Adwoa Safo must be mad. We don't need Honorable John Kumah's wife as his replacement. There are lots of competent people in the constituency to occupy his seat in Parliament.
John KUMAH is not the first to be poisoned/killed by his own party. So to some of us, this propaganda is nonsensical. We cannot play ostrich and assume nothing happened/ is happening in NPP. I believe there is a grand scheme ...

Indeed this is a very dangerous trend. If we don’t deviate from it in no time parliament will be filled with widows as most mps are likely to be poisoned by spouses.
Now parliamentary seats are now sexually transmitted in Ghana? What if the wife of the late MP is not cut out for politics.
Wives of NPP MPS would kill their husbands to become MPS.Where is Ghana headed to?Even if a wife is not qualified, she becomes an MP.Ghana is dead
Ghana paliament is now a STOCK EXCHANGE money money money
We are feeling useless country called Ghana .... The country belong to just a group of people... Madness to the highest level
Is she qualified at all?
Politics is a joke here. Inheritance. What?. Ooh Ghana
if this nonsense continues, soon wives of mps will start killing their husbands
Male MPs shd now start fearing their wives o because some of them can kill their husbands because of this trend of replacing them with their wives.
All intelent persons knew this is the game plan of this wicked group of people balled the npp
LET'S STOP THESE PRECEDENCES. WOMEMD MPs DON'T DIE FOR THEIR HUSBAND'S TO TAKE THEIR PLACES. IT IS RATHER THE MEN WHO ARE BEING MURDED AND THEIR WIVES TAKE OVER.

What Adwoa Safo is saying seems to be okay but the children life and future are also very important. Lilian Kumah should first take the children future into consideration.
What is this NPP'S nonsensical attitude of replacing dead parliamentarians with their wives? This speaks volumes of who the NPP is.
Stop this nonsense, Adjoa.
