The framers of the constitution saw a tyrant president and a very corrupt regime like Akuffu Addo led NPP government from afar.
that was the may reasons provisions of such character was provided- that if the president fail to sign a BILL into law, parliament could pass thAT bill into law with 2 thirds majority of the MPs
Parliament could go ahead and veto it powers by putting the BILL into question for balloting in passing it to become law.
The letter show clear indication of the president, and the president has communicated same to parliament though the reason given has nothing to do with the inputs in the BILL.
Parliament must not wait any further from the president
it must proceed to pass the BILL into law.
WE ARE JUST PASSING A LAW THAT DEFINES OUR VALUES and the proper way of getting into marriage.
our understanding as an independent nation on bonds in marriage is- marriage must be a bond between MAN AND WOMAN. nothing more nothing less
