I don't know how to describe Ghana. Not a single institution is working. Black Africans can not rule themselves because of corruptions, lawlessness situations found in the country. 90% of entire citizens are corrupted including the police, judges, chiefs, ministers, DCEs, politicians. Corruption is in the blood of the citizens. The country has no future. Ghana is a very rich country GOLD COAST but, citizens are begging for common water, and food. WATER IS LIFE STOP GALAMSEY, CORRUPTIONS, AND MISMANAGEMENTS, and focus on industrial technologies like what Korea, Japan, and China are doing. In some areas govt has been prompt in paying allowances, like NSS personnel, WAEC examiners etc

So my question to you: where will govt have money to pay to the children and the unemployed? Get loan and distribute?

All tax and compulsory amounts are deduced directly from your gross by your employer.

Unfortunately, Ghana's politicians have, over time, realized that, given the woeful gullibility of the nation's electorate, it would tantamount to a total, presumptive Electoral loss unless a politician promises Ghanaians the seeming impossibilities and the ridiculous of their demands.
By all accounts, this guy is sufficiently educated to realize the apparent folly in this his promise, to pay allowances to children and the unemployed, but is well-attuned to the voting or Electoral idiosyncrasies of the Ghanaian voters and, hence, he can hardly be blamed or ridiculed for throwing this free money idea to the voters.
For far too long, Ghanaians have been fleeced by all our politicians, who all have never displayed an iota of accountability and respect for anyone and loot the national Treasury with utter impunity.
Independence has done nothing to enhance or uplift our socio-economic circumstances. Indebtedness, poverty, corruption, tribalism, ethnocentrism, lack of creativity, backbiting, etc., etc., have all played a huge role in the insidious under-development of our lovely nation.
