Obviously Basintale doesn’t know anything about war. Both parties would like to break the eight if possible so there’s nothing wrong with the minister saying there will be no handover since he believes the NPP will win the upcoming elections. His response should have been that it’s not going to happen since he believes NDC will win. Raising the specter of war is very irresponsible. He should refer to past footage of war in Liberia or what’s happening currently in Sudan for reference. As an officer of the NDC he should rally the supporters to vote out the NPP instead of what he said after all nobody is bullet proof or perhaps he’s in possession of some anti bullet charms. In that case he should give us some.
