He demonstrated that by showing a river that runs through Kumasi to takoradi sea and I believe the project might need one or two canals to allow ships to travel from the Kumasi to the sea. Hungry Atick should look at his personal achievements and and compare it to Cheddar and ask himself if he is clever enough to find out who has the bigger brain. Him or Cheddar

Maybe he (Cheddar) meant a waterway or a canal, like the ones you see in Italy and other European countries and not a sea, like the Gulf of Guinea or Mediterranean Sea.

Really a joke. Analyses: There are several encounters such as cities, towns and villages mountains, rivers and streams between the sea and Kumasi. So how is he going to divert either to make way for the other? Remember that the rivers and streams are dependant sources of life for people living along and down stream hence need not to be contaminated with seawater. Altitude/ elevation: Geographically, Kumasi is about 287 m (942 ft) above sea level. Basic elementary science dictates water finds its own levels. Therefore, to achieve this ambition, the depth of the trench must be far more deeper than the altitude taking into consideration of the weight and amount of water needed for buoyancy in floating the ships. Meaning that the ships will dock in very deep valley. Besides, is the short and long term felt needs of the Kumasi people to ameliorate the damming economic hardship exacerbated by rising unemployment rates especially among the teaming youth? Maybe I can understand him better if he is able explain how to "fly" the sea to Kumasi. I don't blame him, but some of my own Asantes who will demand NPP t-shirts to vote for anything NPP without thinking of the future.
