OSP was a very trusted institution created to fight corruption. When this lawyer came, he promised to change things. Today there is no difference between Mr. Martin A. Amidu and the current office of the special prosecutor. It has lost all its speciality with no sense of prosecuting any criminal been. They are all been protected by the president and his croonies. NPP should go to opposition to learn from their mistakes.
Ashanti Region should not allow it self to be played the way this current scrupelous NPP leaders are doing against the votes given by. Ghana does not deserve this criminals in government. NPP and NDC must go and pave way for a third force like Alan Kyeremateng, Nana Kwame Bediako, etc. We are fed up!!!

You started the investigation in 2023 so what was the outcome. We in April 2024. These legal and pseudo legal departments have outlived their usefulness. What benefits do we get from OSP, EOCO, CHRAG, NIB, THE SUPREME COURT etc..? We are just wasting taxpayers money on them for nothing. Martin Amidu and Kissi Adjabeng have not prosecuted even one cockroach since the establishment of the office. Everyone knows Cecilia Dapaah is a brazen thief. What happened to her? CHRAG has been investigating Victor Kusi Boateng/Kwabena Adu Gyamfi before my grandmother was born. We are yet to see the report. This Akuffo Addo's NPP government is the most corrupt since independence. The Supreme court could not prosecute even one case against them.

Ghana's government agencies will be swimming in corruption for years to come. One can establish OSP officers in every region, it still will do nothing to stem the tide of corruption in government. The OSP is appointed by the President, so why will any reasonable person expect the OSP to a real zealous chaser of corruption? Corruption will linger on so long as the bulk of the media in Ghana is controlled by NPP and NDC thieving politicians and their crooked business cronies. Normally, it's the media that keeps government agencies on their toes by carrying out regular investigations and reports on corruption within government. Since the bulk of the media is controlled by thieving politicians and their crooked business cronies, there's hardly any desire for the media to launch any meaningful investigation or reports of corruption within government. Those who thing the establishment of an Office of Special Prosecutor will help to look into corruption within government are in for a surprise. That OSP outfit is nothing but a window dressing deceptive act by a corrupt and slick President to deceive the Ghana public into thinking he cares about fighting corruption. Without a TRUE independent media, any claim by any government in Ghana about fighting corruption is just a facade.

It’s even worse than ever. It’s purpose is defeated. Today the scholarship secretariat is meant for the politicians, their families and loved ones, CEO’s, and political influencers. If you really serious about this investigation, start from 2014 through 2024. Okudzato Ablakwa and wife, Ofori Atta’s nephew, Samira’s newphew who never stepped foot in the class room in UK, Eddie Blay’s daughter and many more…. At least, let’s have poor Cocoa farmers kids enjoy some of the benefits of their fruits.

When we were in secondary schools, little did we know that almost all the Dadabas and Mommy pickins from affluent families were on scholarships mostly CMB scholarships. Those of us Agyabas who were being dragged into our parent’s cocoa farms and plantations on weekends to work for them in the hinterlands never were granted any such privileges. I remember I applied both with my father and uncle’s passbook by nothing happened to me. So people must stop talking as if these kind of corruption is only an NPP problem. Ghana’s scholarship schemes has always favored the city dwellers who haven’t even seen the cocoa tree or pod before . The rural dwellers have always been at the blunts of scholarship schemes in this country since time immemorial , probably he himself, I mean the OSP, might have been such a beneficiary. Another are of interest in the investigation is whether at all, the scholarship funds are received by those who it has been awarded to. I say so because there is raft of rumours regarding students who are abroad on these scholarships going through unbearable financial difficulties because these funds are not being paid out to help sustain them as they're studying. In some cases some student's fees are not being paid and face possible expulsion from their courses because of the secretariat's delays in paying up.

Students abroad are sometimes forced to take up jobs and in some cases some ladies resorting to all manner of unspoken means to fend for themselves with some even being taken advantage of due to hardship. And yet any attempt to bring genuine complaints to the fore by disgruntled students to the secretariat are faced with threats of withdrawal from the scholarship programme.

The leadership of the scholarship secretariat is accountable for all the above where people's development and livelihood are at stake. How does this incentify prospective graduates with the much needed skillset to return to an economy which neglects its own in the interest of lining up their own pockets
