I don’t think those who came out with the curfew time have functioning brains . At the curfew could have been extended to 8pm which would have been enough time for workers and traders to be home prior to the curfew.
It is just appalling the treatment that our illiterate police meted out to those who broke the curfew. Why will the police spank those travelers and let them roll on the dusty road. Are the police authorized to do that. Why not arrest those who break the curfew and impose a fine on them . The behavior of the police is a reflection of our IGP who seems not to have any control over his policemen and women . A policeman cut off an ear of a suspect during interrogation and the IGP has not even reacted to this barbaric attack until now . Ghanaians should not be subjected to this type of treatment by the police .
