This the very reason Ghanaians don’t give their best or steel from work. Having experience working with both Africans and Caucasians, trust me the African treats their workers as non-entities.

Our greatest worry is not about the quality of leaders (politics, leadership, religion, traditional, etc) but for the low IQ levels of a majority of citizens, and consequent recklessness and presumptiveness. Too many of us do not seek for information, do not use logic and rely on personal feelings to arrive at critical decisions. Notable public examples are the driver of the KIA truck who left his vehicle on railway line and the mother who decided to leave a fresh baby in the open in a house with a dog, under a bed net to ease herself. On the later, she felt the dog was not around but did not check to confirm, she new the safest place to return the child to before visiting the toilet was the room but felt she would be away very briefly, and she and her husband feels both the dog and its owner are to blame for the tragic injuries visited on their innocent baby. I don't get it?

1. Workers in a factory that has closed down production for months, due to a financial crisis or bankruptcy, expect to be paid their monthly salary in full and first and foremost before lenders and shareholders.
2. People throw plastic waste every where and dump solid and liquid waste into the drains, and feel that flooding is caused by negligence of government in waste collection or designing gutters
3. People expect free and low cost public services but don't want to be paid taxes.

Just these three feelings point to low IQ or our deeply ingrained I-don't-care "bodam aniate" syndrome.

Timid and useless parents. They were possibly having sex inside the room while the dog attack the helpless child. No father watches his child being attacked by animal wild or domestic without a fight. Both deserve flogging.
