There is a great difference between John Jerry Rawlings and Kojo Tsikata are far more better than people of the United Party tradition who raise statues for criminals who were sentenced to death for the murder and maiming of children.
I mean Joseph Boachie Danquah and Obetsebi Lamptey who were sentenced to death by Justice of the High Court Justice Edward Akufo-Addo, the father of President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.
Rather than making Amartey Quaye and his ground of desperadoes heroes, the PNDC sentenced them to death and shot them at a firing squad.
In 1969 when Professor Kofi Abrefa Busia became the Prime Minister of Ghana he caused the Osu Circle to be named after J.B. Danquah and Obose Okai Circle to be named after Obetsebi Lamptey.
It will interest you that John Kufuor and some NPP members were ministers in the PNDC regime. Osafo Marfo and others also held various positions in the PNDC regime.

When judges refuse to be professional instead of partisan, using partisan considerations to pervert justice, they don't go scott free when chaos breaks out in the society. After the incident, the judiciary self corrected. The decay restarted when JA Kuffour became president, but under Akkofo Addo, the levels of decay and corruption in the judiciary has been unprecedented. The twisting of the law, the unprofessional conduct among the cabal is just an eye saw. I wonder what would happen in the event of an outbreak of any mass disorder!
