I do not think that the price of these DSTV services are expensive at all so long as Ghanaians continue to foolishly subscribe to their services in such numbers as to give the company the audacity to increase it every year beyond the means of even the Ghanaian middle-class. As for me I stopped subscribing to their services many years ago when I realized that they take Ghanaians for fools - and in that respect, I daresay, they are not entirely wrong. So Kwabena Agyepoong, if you think you are not a sucker, stop squealing and drop the DSTV subscription and go and watch GTV.

In order to watch epl in Ghana today, one need to sacrifice 330ghc which more than a rent fee for one month.
Our leaders are heartless, they don't care for the citizens because they their dstv/Got subscriptions are paid by the poor tax payers money.
Multi choice Ghana need to also know that increasing subscription is not the way to go, the best way to go is reduce the subscription and rather work on increasing the customer base.
The tactics is very simple, if the subscription is reduced, customer base will increase.
Alternatively, all sports channels can be put on one package and pegged at say 100ghc per month and I tell you within one month or two will be surprised with the new subscribers as well as older subscribers that will reactivate their accounts and come on board. This my humble suggestion can be tried just one month and you will thank me later.

Dstv has been cheating us for long. I called their customer service line to complain about the hike in prices.
They told me they pay high taxes up to 28% of every subscription to the government.

In 2023, they breached their own T&C's by increasing their tarrifs three times. I called them and they said it's because of economic recession. Meanwhile they did not tell their customers.

How I wish cheaters like DSTV have a better competitor on the market. We will show them pepper some day.

It’s so ironic that Ghanaians don’t have a communication company, such as MTN that haven’t a monthly bill common to Ghanaians instead of always buying credit for the company to devolve them in such a thirdly way, so you keep buying credit. I know the Minister of communication doesn’t buy any credit for herself. A country led by a criminal with criminal followers.
