But Mahama should know that this is mostly a vote against NPP, not a ringing endorsement of NDC. NPP under Akufo-Addo has been the greatest disappointment of my life. I'll never forget Cecilia Dapaah, Databank receiving commissions on govt borrowing, "Ghana beyond aid" slogan while we go abegging around the world, corruption on a grand scale while NADAA wears his blinkers, pretending not to see any wrongdoing. Not to mention galamsey and the epic destruction of our common heritage led by semi-literate Chairman Wontumi and NPP bigwigs.
We hope that JDM and his incoming team will know that we have low expectations of them based on their previous showing. We pray for humility in office by him and his team. The only good news is that there is no more money to be stolen. Hopefully this will deter the usual rush to the feeding trough by the other team of hungry and greedy politicians. Ghana has been so diminished among the comity of nations that you struggle to find any international coverage of our elections. That is how inconsequential we have become. Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana.
God have pity on this nation.
