You are right Hon. Hagan. Now the practical economists have taken over let's us see the standard of living improved and the cost of living reduced Mr. Practical Economist. Ghana is where it is today because of inactivity in the past and for me Dr. Bawumia has played significant role to ensuring we modernise our economy. Nobody can convince me that the private led one district one factory is not a good thing. Countries such as India implemented Specialised Economic Zones similar to 1D1F and almost every product is produced in that country. The policy is good, all we need to do is to continue to provide incentives for the private sector to lead it and that will improved our net import. Data plays critical role in formulating economic policy and Dr. Bawumia is a lead campaigner that is not a theoretical economics Hon Hagan. The Gold standard policy is a strategic economic decision taken by most advanced countries and it has direct effect in stabilising ones currency and Dr. Bawumia and BOG is currently executing that rigorously where we have seen massive increase in BOG's gold reserves. These are many things as a country we have failed to do and we are where we are and l thank God at least we once had a Vice President who is a theoretical economist and started implementing some of these policies that will sustain us. For the incoming practical economists please in as much you have more practical economic theories to implement do not loose sight of some of the "theoretical economic policies" started by theoretical Bawumia. Who says corruption is solved by strong men? Corruption is solved by building systems including digitalization.
