If you're ashamed of being a Christian, that in itself means you're not a Christian. Because it's not Christianity that you're ashamed of but Jesus Christ. Christianity is intellectual pursuit. When you're redeemed, you're given all the graces, including intellect, wisdom, love forgiveness etc etc. Your comment is an indication that you're not a Christian at this very moment.Matthew 7:21-23 . But if it's God's will and He add more to your years, He may change your heart.

western countries mark/ observe it simply as holiday. No activities; marching, drumming and dancing etc. Let's come out of unnecessary expenditures and promote rural livelihood.

Ghana is million times better off without Britain being our coloniser. Ghana is only 69 years old and Britain colonized us for over 100 years and was forced to leave the Gold Coast. They left the Gold Coast as a poor and undeveloped nation. Britain was only interested in pillaging our resources. Now we are at least the masters of our own destiny. It is better to be free and be poor than be rich and live in bondage.Ghana has developed far better than when it was being colonised. I lived in the Gold Coast, i lived in Ghana after independence and i now live in the UK. Nobody can convince me that Ghana was a better country under British colonization. How many hospitals ,how many secondary schools,how many good roads did we have in the Gold Coast when it became independent?
Ghana may not be the pefect nation we want it to be,but at least we have the freedom to decide how Ghana should move forward as a nation.
