Give no ear to such twerps still seeking power. During their time, Titus-Glover spent over GHC10m on events at the Independence Square. And what is his bases of argument. Its the seat of government and for that matter, they should have spent something much lower, maybe GHC20,000? What idiot! Look, before you criticise, get the budget for the event, scrutinise every line item and assess the cost, ensure all activities are carried out accordingly. If for example $3m was provided for food and no food was provided, we all have an interest of finding out why this activity was left out and yet the budget remained the same. Hopping from one station to another to say government should have spent less is cheap political propaganda. Government has not spent more the GHC10m on an Independence Ceremony. The government is wary of the wastefulness under Akufo-Addo and so employed less that 60 ministers instead of 120 ministers under Akufo-Addo. This government is prudent and will not sink $92m into a mosquito breeding ground and call it a National Cathedral. Heh, the Cecilia Dapaah case will resurrect and we will understand why Accra is still wallowing in filth and plastic bags. Give no ear to nation wreckers. Titus-Glover must tell us the bases of his argument. On the other hand, he must be invited by the BNI to explain his conduct. This would dissuade the likes of him who plan to give the government a bad name. At any rate, where is Ken Ofori-Atta?
