Corrupt and visionless African politicians are merely looking for more funds to waste or pad their pockets. These are the same useless politicians that have for years either participated in Scholarship Secretariat waste or looked the other way without caring to address the the corruption that plagues the Scholarship Secretariat. And this waste at the Secretariat will go on as long as Ghanaians fail to demand meaningful changes at the Secretariat.

Ghana Scholarship Secretariat is a corruption incubator catering to a few well-connected Ghanaians who use that agency to educate their children abroad at the expense of the suffering masses of Ghana. Ghanaians must demand a publication of all the names of scholarship recipients in the past twenty years, the courses that they undertook or are currently undertaking, and the names of those who failed to return to Ghana upon completion of their studies. It's utterly absurd for Ghana to send its citizens abroad to study courses that are available at local universities. Furthermore, paying for spouses of scholarship recipients to join their spouses abroad is just another form of waste and insult on Ghana tax payers, and the practice must end immediately. The Scholarship Secretariat should also be required to publish every year the names of scholarship recipients, the institutions of their studies, the courses to be pursued, the amount of each scholarship, the duration of the scholarship and course, and whether there is a requirement for the recipient to return to Ghana upon completion of studies with obligation strings attached. The amount Ghana owes to UK institutions is staggering, but revelations of other obligations to institutions in the USA and other countries combined will surely knock the socks off a reader's feet. This educational corruption is is an unnecessary heavy load on the heads of Ghanaians, a load created for the benefit of a select group of crooked entitled idiots who are bent on ripping off the country without a care for the pain their actions cause millions of Ghanaians.
