The Senegalese protested and later rescinded their decision. They continued to play and won. The referee ended the match when the full time of play was over. If indeed the cup has been reverted to Morocco, then African football is dead and we (Concerned Sports Analysts) shall always speak ill of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

This is all true that Senegal abandoned the match but the problem is that the ref continued the match and Senegal won. It is not Senegal's fault that the ref decided to continue a match that should have been called in favor of Morocco. The match is not open ended. It ends and all good and bad calls are cemented. There is no going back. The only person who should be penalized in this matter are the match officials. Morocco can sue CAF for but the decision cannot and should not be overturned. This will set a precedent and is bad for the game. Imperfect decisions are part of the game.

Rubbish. He's not the referee. Match Commissioner's Report does not override referee's decision. In law, you cannot use an officials mistake to punish a third party, unless you can prove connivajce between the 2 parties.

In addition, bmany renowned medias promoted in favour of Morocco to win, portraying her to advance in FIFA ranking and best possible position to becoming a seeding team in the upcoming FIFA tournaments including 2026 world cup. I suggest, it is deliberately done for fear of eliminating FIFA favourable teams, and to justify age-long accusations of corruption in FIFA as to why non African teams has ever won senior World cup. The fit achieved by Morocco in the recent global contexts could be proved that African teams if strong enough could end up winning Senior World Cup. To further prove this, the bodies want Morocco to become champion a position that would portray her the content strongest team at the time. That's what I call a systematic means for justification. No matter what African vans do the bodies wouldn't changed their mind.

Under standard officiating protocols, if a team leaves the pitch but returns within a reasonable timeframe (often managed at the referee's discretion) and the match resumes, the "abandonment" is technically nullified.
The referee did not blow the final whistle to abandon the match at the 15-minute mark.
The game continued, a penalty was taken, and the full 120 minutes were played.
By completing the match, the officials effectively "waived" the forfeiture in the moment, making a retrospective 3-0 ruling feel like a double jeopardy.
