  The streets of Accra are dark at night. There are no street lights, no reflectors on curbs, no street lane and crosswalk markings. Streetlights are not working. Aboboyaas and taxi tricycles (Mahama can do) have annoyingly inundated the city. Okada riders have pitched camp irritatingly at every junction causing nuisance in neighborhoods. The zongos are sprawling and spanning and spawning. These are the things that the relevant ministries should be checking to avoid disasters. Driving now in Accra at night is always a brush with death. The relevant ministries must be up and doing. The president is only a supervisor.

  The politicians are disrupting the work of the technocrats. What time do the technocrats have to do administrative work in their various ministries?. First the President visits with the sector a d regional ministers, another time it is only the sector, then the regional minister visits and lastly the members of Parliament. It real takes a toll but master say so they have to follow. It is only those in charge directly of the project who should be visiting the sites and these visits should be coordinated. Waste of fuel , time etc. Emergencies should be the exception.

  Please don’t go and issue instructions that the contractor should be paid. It is the work of the Engineers to do. Not the President of a nation state ordering payment of contractors.
